Asprey secures Cyber Essentials Certification

rachelratty

Asprey have been awarded Cyber Essentials Certification from IASME, an Accreditation Body appointed by HM Government’s National Cyber Security Centre, recognising Asprey's commitment to cyber security.

The IASME Governance standard is based on international best practice and is an alternative to ISO 27001 and it recognises that Asprey is taking steps to protect it's customers information.

We were required to ensure that we met stringent security requirements across our IT infrastructure and under five technical control themes, including firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and patch management, before being awarded the certification.

The assessment included our software applications including operating systems, scripts, libraries, and firmware plus devices including networking equipment, servers, networks and staff equipment such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

Security of our own and client’s information has always been of paramount importance to Asprey and achieving the Cyber Essentials Certification was a key element of our on-going commitment to this area of our business.
