Originally established in 1967 as the Merton Family Housing Trust, Wandle was formed by a group of local people with a simple but powerful aim: “to provide homes for homeless families, regardless of colour, language, race, or creed.”
Since those early beginnings, Wandle has grown into a thriving housing association, now managing more than 7,000 homes across nine south London boroughs. The organisation provides a diverse range of housing options, including social and affordable rent, shared ownership, outright sale, and supported housing, all underpinned by a strong commitment to community and inclusion.
A long-standing user of Asprey’s Strategic Asset Management solution since 2016, Wandle has now expanded its use of the Asprey Suite, successfully going live on Operational Asset Management, Asbestos Management and Planned Works functionality. The expansion supports Wandle’s continued focus on strengthening compliance, improving data visibility and enabling more informed, proactive investment decisions across its housing stock.
Andrew Arnold, Head of Asset Management at Wandle, said:
“Asprey has been a trusted partner for a number of years, and extending our use of the solution was a natural next step. The additional functionality gives us greater operational insight and supports our teams to plan and manage our assets more effectively, ensuring we continue to deliver safe, high-quality homes for our residents.”
David Ellis, Operations Director at Asprey, added:“We are delighted to see Wandle expand their use of the Asprey Suite. Having worked together for many years, this go-live reflects a strong partnership and a shared commitment to using accurate, accessible asset data to support compliance, investment planning and better outcomes for residents.”
