St Basils is one of the largest organisations in the UK dedicated to supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It is also the largest regional organisation of its kind. Operating as both a registered charity and a housing association, St Basils has over 50 years of experience in delivering a comprehensive, holistic range of accommodation and support services for young people aged 16–25 who are vulnerable, homeless, or at risk.

Each year, St Basils supports nearly 4,000 young people across the West Midlands, with services in Birmingham, Coventry, Evesham, Leamington Spa, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and the Wyre Forest. The organisation offers a full spectrum of prevention, accommodation, support, and engagement services, with a strong focus on empowering young people to acquire the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to transition successfully into independent living.
St Basils’ core mission is to provide young people with the safety, stability, and support necessary to envision and build a brighter future. While its services are person-centred, St Basils also plays a key role in influencing national policy and driving systemic change to better address youth homelessness.
To further enhance its capacity to provide safe, high-quality housing, St Basils has entered into a strategic three-year partnership with Asprey Management Solutions, a leading provider of asset, works, and compliance management services.
Jas Sidhu, Director of Housing at St Basils, said: “The partnership with Asprey Management Solutions represents a significant step forward in how we manage our assets, compliance, and data across the organisation.
For a registered provider of our size, having a robust, integrated system is not a luxury, it is critical. High-quality, accurate data underpins everything we do, from ensuring statutory compliance and building safety, through to making informed investment decisions and managing risk effectively.
Asprey provides us with the tools to strengthen our assurance frameworks, improve visibility across our property portfolio, and enhance how we plan, monitor, and deliver works. This enables us to be more proactive, rather than reactive, in maintaining safe, compliant, and high-quality homes.
Importantly, this is not just about systems, it is about outcomes. By improving how we capture and use data, we can drive better decision-making, demonstrate regulatory compliance with confidence, and ultimately deliver a more consistent and higher standard of service to the young people we support.
This investment reflects our wider commitment to continuous improvement, digital transformation, and ensuring that our homes remain safe, well-managed, and fit for purpose, now and into the future.”
David Ellis, Operations Director at Asprey, commented: "We are delighted to welcome St Basils to our growing client base. Their mission to support young people facing homelessness is one we deeply admire. We are genuinely pleased to be able to contribute to their work by equipping their team with the tools and systems needed to deliver outstanding service and care to the young people they serve."
