Asprey is pleased to announce that Stockport Homes has purchased its Operational Asset Management solution, Planned Works and Asprey Mobile to support the management and ongoing improvement of its housing portfolio.

Established in 2005 to manage housing on behalf of Stockport Council, Stockport Homes is the borough’s largest landlord, managing over 12,000 properties. Council-owned but operating independently on day-to-day matters, the organisation manages homes for the Council and private landlords, alongside its own growing portfolio of new-build homes. As part of Stockport Homes Group, it combines housing services with a wider commitment to creating safe, secure homes and supporting communities across Greater Manchester.

The purchase brings together tools for managing asset information, planning and monitoring improvement programmes, and capturing data in the field. Asprey’s solutions are designed to help housing providers maintain a clearer view of their properties and make informed decisions about future investment, with mobile working supporting surveys and inspections.

Paul Worthington, Director of Property at Stockport Homes, said:

“Effective asset management starts with reliable data. Investing in Asprey’s solutions will give us greater visibility of our housing portfolio, support more informed decision-making and help us plan future investment with confidence. The integrated approach to asset management, planned works and mobile working will enable our teams to work more efficiently and continue delivering quality homes for our customers.”

David Ellis, Operations Director at Asprey commented:

“We are delighted to welcome Stockport Homes to Asprey. Their longstanding commitment to delivering quality homes and supporting their communities gives real purpose to the work we will do together.

“Reliable property information underpins effective asset management. By bringing operational asset management, planned works and mobile data collection together, we look forward to helping the team turn that information into practical plans for maintaining and improving residents’ homes. We are excited to build a strong working relationship with Stockport Homes and support their ambitions for the future.”
